Eine neue Studie liefert erstmals umfassende Zahlen und Fakten zur Bedeutung dieser Verflechtungen der Landoberfläche für den regionalen und weltweiten Staubkreislauf unter aktuellen und zukünftigen Bedingungen.

Lavender oil could help solve a problem in the energy transition. A team from the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces has created a material from linalool, the main component of lavender oil, and sulfur that could make sodium-sulfur batteries more durable and powerful.
