Dear friends, In recent months, the families we know have been spared nothing.
The bursting of the real-estate bubble in 2009 created a paradox in Spain: while there was a large number of homes unfinished and unsold (3.5 million empty houses which was more than any other country in Europe), there were also just as many people homeless.
They still don’t have the money to pay for a hostel.
Rooted in bringing people together, despite mandated isolation, ATD continues to create connections around the world.
How can we still be useful to the families who have the hardest lives and who mustn
The world needs a better definition of poverty and children in Tanzania are helping find one.
For example some children have to travel long distances to school.
In the Central African Republic, ATD Fourth World members are building a better world that leaves no one behind.
