Friedrich Karl Gotsch (1900-84) was a German expressionist. This material includes correspondence between Hodin, Gotsch and a host of art academics and gallerists relating to the organisation of an exhibition in 1974 and the production of Hodin’s biography. Also included are Hodin’s notes and collected information on Gotsch; the manuscripts and typescripts of his biography and an assortment of press cuttings, articles, ephemera and catalogues.
