The majority of this collection, which features sketches of landscapes, still-life drawings, portrait and profile view sketches of male and female figures, and sketches of the female form, with annotations by the artist, is now available to view online. ‘Loose sketches by Marie-Louise von Motesiczky‘, collection owner: Marie-Louise Von Motesiczky, 1920s–1990s – Tate Archive | Tate

Contains loose sketches dated from between 1920-1990s, with titles given by the Marie-Louise von Motesiczky Trust. The sketches are mostly studies of still lifes, sketches of landscapes, portraits of her friends including of Elias Canetti and Mitzi, a few self-portraits, sketches of figures performing various activities and many studies of her mother Henriette von Motesiczky. Some of her sketches have been mounted by the Charitable Trust and some of the drawings have been included in ‚Marie-Louise Von Motesiczky: Catalogue Raisonne of the Paintings‘ by Ines Schlenker, 2009.
