The Latin-American Committee for Educational Mathematics (CLAME) unites accredited researchers and teachers of the field of educational mathematics of Latin-America. The main objective of the association is to connect actions and shared interests with the aim to promote qualitative research and its actualization and to attain professionalization of the teachers through scientific, technological and social development of the region. This is approached by the promotion of the diffusion of education which enables the fostering of the quality of education, and by creating a frame, in which persons who share this common interest can exchange ideas and information.

Learning for Jobs – The OECD Policy Review of Vocational Education and Training (VET) – english information

The review aims to bridge the gap between learning and jobs, by exploring how to make initial vocational education and training for young people respond better to labour market requirements. It therefore looks at initial VET in schools, colleges, workplaces and other institutions, offering policy messages for all OECD countries, alongside concrete advice on policy reform in reviewed countries. A programme of analytical work drew on evidence from all OECD countries, including a questionnaire on VET systems, literature reviews of previous OECD studies and the academic literature on topics such as costs and benefits, career guidance and VET during the economic crisis. The results of both the analytical work and the country reviews fed into this comparative report, of which an initial version was published on the OECD website in October 2009. The website offers the final comparative report and 17 country reports.

The aim is the fostering of cooperation of Latin American and Caribbean universities amongst themselves as well as with other institutions and cultural organisations as the UNESCO; the cultural Interamerican Counsil of the OEA etc. UDUAL facilitates the orientation, coordination and unification of the economical and administrative organisation of the member universities without compromising the conservation and the inclusion of individuality. Also, UDUAL supports the organisation of the exchange of teachers, students, researchers and graduates as well as the exchange of publications, studies and research as well as teaching material.

The Latin-American and Caribbean Educators Association (AELAC) is a non-profit ONG which unites all pedagogues and institutions of Latin-America and the Caribbean and which is involved in the study and the solutions of the problems of the educational and the cultural sectors of those areas. The objective of the assocation is to define, to preserve and to develop an adequate, autochtone and autonomous pedagogic which contributes to the development of the identity of the peoples and thereby to incorporate human values, within the unity and the respect of cultural diversity, the Latin-American and Caribbean identity and peaceful coexistence.
