Contains business correspondence between Jacques Lipchitz and the French authorities responsible for arranging of ‚Exposition Internationale Paris 1937‘. Jacques Lipchitz made on commission a sculptural group, titled ‚Prometheus killing the vulture‘ which was displayed in 1937 at the Palais de la Decouverte. It provoked controversies and in 1938 the sculpture was damaged by some right activists.
