The Government of Canada made a commitment to provide $3.5 billion to improve maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) in developing countries between 2015 and 2020. One of the components of this MNCH commitment included $375 million over 5 years for proposals to the Partnership for Strengthening Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Initiative (PSMNCH).
