Smart Cities: “… making everyone`s life better”

Under the motto “Smart Visions – Smart Living” the third Smart City Festival 2019 #SCF19 attracted almost 700 stakeholders, entrepreneurs, researchers, and smart city practitioners from the Western Balkans.The Smart City Festival was organized by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Palgo smart, Serbian Tech, and the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities. In 2019, the festival was supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development BMZ, the Smart City Education Initiative SCEI and over 50 partner organizations.

On October 4, Monterrey hosted the Foundation’s Intercultural Cities Forum. In its second edition, this space for dialogue gave continuity to the conversations on the recognition of interculturality as an element of social, cultural and economic value in Mexico. With the participation of academics, public officials and civil society organizations, different voices were brought together to address the challenges of human mobility.
