This project satisfies the prevailing necessity of research in diverse knowledge areas, but is also active for the obejctives of education development and staff formation by searching events in chronological order presenting the result to its members.

The Latin-American Network of Educational Portals (RELPE) was founded in August 2004 in an agreement of the ministers of education of 16 Latin-American countries. Those countries constitute RELPE with their respective autonomous, national, public and free portals. The principles of RELPE are that every country maintains its own portal in accordance with the education project and with the respective national interests, which orients itself on other portals but, apart from that, is totally independent and offers its contents in free circulation in the network.

The Union of Universities of Latin America and the Caribbean (UDUAL) is an international organism founded with the objective to promote the universities of the member countries. The aim is the fostering of cooperation of Latin American and Caribbean universities amongst themselves as well as with other institutions and cultural organisations as the UNESCO; the cultural Interamerican Counsil of the OEA etc. UDUAL facilitates the orientation, coordination and unification of the economical and administrative organisation of the member universities without compromising the conservation and the inclusion of individuality.
